August Shoot - Jardin des âmes - Tyler Dyce & Monalisa Moyo

Here is the first gallery of three for Augusts Shoot called 'Jardin des Amis' or Garden of Souls. I wanteded to do a shoot and give the feeling that the viewer was looking at photographs taken the turn of the last century in the southern states like Louisiana and Mississippi. Thankfully I found a nature reserve in Newstead Village that served that purpose to a tee with all its long grass. The weather was broody and threatening and we took the pictures just at the golden hour of the day, or as the sun was setting. We had help from the owner of the close by Microbrewery called 'The Pit' and a very freindly lady called Lorraine who lent us one of her rooms so the models could get changed and the makeup artist to do her thing. She also served good beer! So thanks then to amazing models Tyler Dyce and Monalisa Moyo. To awsome makeup artist Karen Hegarty MUA and to Lorraine at The Pit Microbrewery. Thanks also and a special mention to Amy for helping me on that day with all things photographic. xx

Welcome Tyler Dyce to the Jardin des amis (Garden of Souls) Shoot I have taken more pictures of this woman than any other since I started. With over forty shoots together under our belts she possed here for me and along with fellow model Monalisa Moyo did a great job. Just a pity there was so much dog shit around in the nature trail location!! Thanks here to both models Tyler Dyce and Monalisa Moyo. To makeup artist Karen Hegarty MUA. The Sun was setting and rain was starting to come down when we did this half of the shoot, but I think we got some great images despite that.
